The Schnauzer Forum

Sad to say that our dear Magic crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. She was 14 years 5 months old and the sweetest and gentlest of dogs. Mother to 8, grandmother to 11 and great grandmother to 9 beautiful mini schnauzers. Although she was physically still very fit for her age, she suffered a fairly rapid cognitive decline in the past 6 months and after lengthy discussions with a kind and supportive vet we took the heartbreaking decision to let her pass peacefully. She had lost the spark of enjoyment from her life which had been a full and happy one until this summer leaving us countless special memories.

So sad to hear shes crossed the rainbow bridge. Sounds like she was ready to go
When I first joined the forum she had had a litter around a month after Barney had been born and Maty/Kate a forum member was getting one of the pups. Happy days to look back on.

It is such a tough decision to make and it never gets easier. She is running free now with the rest of our departed dogs, over the rainbow bridge.

Please accept our sincere condolences for the heart breaking lost of 'Magic' to Rainbow Bridge. We know in our heart of hearts, we got to let go sometimes but it is very hard to do so but we do certain things out of pure love and care for our furry members of our families, and that is what you have done. You cannot do much more than that. Again, we are sorry. Take care please.
