Hey All
We have a 16 week old Miniature who we've started to train with recall and letting off the lead. I was wondering if anyone has any advise regarding walking or how long they usually walk their puppies for? When he's off he likes to run around and we usually take him out for an hour at a time. At his age is there any worries regarding him limbs or joints? I don't want to let him run around too much if it's going to cause him issues later on.

Young puppies are better having short exercise periods and plenty of rest in between to avoid any damage to their developing bones and to avoid over-stimulating them generally. There us a useful guide on this link to explain which kinds of activity are fine to avoid damage and which should be limited until a dog is mature:
