Crufts Ticket Competition

If anyone would like the opportunity to win a pair of tickets for Crufts this year, there is a competition on Magic's blog (closing on Sunday) for a lucky person to win 2 tickets for any one day of the show. As it is the 125th anniversary, it looks to be a great event this year. For anyone who has not visited Crufts before, it is much more than just a conformation show for pure bred dogs. There are working dog displays such as the Gamekeeper clases, the Police Dog Team Operational and Humanitarian Action of the Year award, and dogs who have transformed the lives of their owners celebrated through the Friends for Life competition. Rescue dogs also take part in the rescue dog agility competition and there are also Flyball and Heelwork to Music competitions.

For prospective dog owners and dog lovers, Crufts is a good opportunity to discover more about a range of different breeds ( including of course the schnauzer breeds ) find out about the work of rescue charities and speak to breed experts about how to responsibly source, train and enjoy life with dogs.

And last but not least there are literally hundreds of trade stands selling anything and everything for dogs and dog lovers!

There were two lucky winners of this competition for a pair of tickets to Crufts. Diane from Lincolnshire and Sarah from Milton Keynes. Not sure if any of the entries were from Forum members but just to update on this.

Mini and standard schnauzers are being shown this Thursday and Giant Schnauzers are in the show ring on Saturday but you can meet the breeds and their owners any day of the show at Discover Dogs so if anyone is just contemplating getting one of the schnauzer breeds do go along and see them and have a chat about what it is like living with a schnauzer ( or several) from people who do
