Ruddi's birthday!

The Standard Schnauzer is a working or utility dog and is the original breed of the three sizes. Standard Schnauzers are generally a robust, squarely built, medium-sized dog with aristocratic bearings.

Off topic I notice you shave further up the neck passed the lions mane cowlick. I've seen other picture of standards like that but not minis. Any idea why ?

We recently have switched to raw feeding but prior to that Ruddi was on Arden Grange with some extras like sardines a couple of times a week etc

It is a style they often use in Europe to make the neck look longer and show off the front angulation. It doesn't suit every dog and was a bit of an experiment on my three :)
