WOW :-o What a fantastic amount; of money, kindness, support, co-operation, legs, barks and treats!

I love 'people power' and Schnauzerfest is a brilliant example!

Here's looking forward to next year! ;)

Congratulations to everyone who organised, contributed to and/or joined in the events of Schnauzerfest 2015, the results are just amazing. Sadly we couldn't be there for the walks this year, but hopefully there will be a "next year" :D

We'll be closing the fundraising links this weekend, so if anyone would still like to donate, best be quick. The total this year is absolutely incredible. Final figure including Gift Aid will be in excess of £14,000.
Thank you everyone here if you've taken part and supported in any way at all, every ounce of help, every penny is greatly appreciated by both rescues and will go directly to helping dogs.
:)

All that Schnauzerfest represent, all the awareness shared. Now seems to be an event the nation has taken to their heart.

Great collectiveness up and down the country. All pulling together.

Fantastic total raised .... [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] xx

We closed the fundraising on Sunday and the total has floored me. It's an incredible sum of money to have been raised. The 2 rescues will use it well, both have several schnauzers in their care at the moment with expensive veterinary requirements. It's been a tremendous result all round, made possible through the support and generosity in a lot of varied ways from a lot of people. Thank you to everyone here who's given it support.

We'll do it again. We can't not really!
So, 2016, Schnauzerfest will return in October. Plenty of time to find new locations, recce some local walks, get spreading the word :)
