Number of dogs taking part in Schnauzerfest
Trying to get a rough idea of numbers of dogs who enjoyed their weekend out with others.
If hosts could add what they think here, between here and Facebook we might come up with a reasonably accurate overall total

I wasn't an organiser but I am pretty sure there were 20 on the South Wales walk.

I'd say closer to 40, I tried counting several times, got past 30 and had to give up as my eyes were crossing and I was getting whip lashlesleyn wrote:I think it was around 30 for Bristol, maybe a few more Do you reckon that's about right Alison?

Re: Number of dogs taking part in Schnauzerfest
At a rough count up from all info supplied I reckon somewhere between 520 and 550 dogs took part

What an incredible turn out!!
At Delamere Forest, I overheard quite a few funny comments, one being ' Wow, I've never seen that many in my life', and the one which really made me chuckle was' OMG where've they all come from, they're taking over'
To us, it was simply schnauzer heaven

Re: Number of dogs taking part in Schnauzerfest
During the Rye walk a woman stopped me and asked about all the schnauzers and was telling me how wonderful it was that we all got together. When I told her what the cause was for I thought she was going to cry, all she kept saying was 'This is just so so wonderful', made me feel really proud to be part of it all

Someone who stopped and talked to me while we were waiting to start walking at Black Park was impressed and asked me if she could donate too. I told her about the Facebook page ...don't know if she did? Still, lots of lovely reactions!
Alfie p&s standard boy, born 5.9.12; Reeva p&s standard girl. born 6.7.13- adopted 17.5.15
