MIke - when will you be drawing the raffle? Would be good to tell those who aren't on the forum/facebook at the individual events so they can still participate (donate).

The draw is taking place at the end of the Rye Walk on Saturday.

Tickets close tonight at midnight online.

We have discussed leaving open till all walks are done, but this becomes impossible to manage. We hope that most people taking part in Schnauzerfest over the weekend will be in touch with it online through one of the social media routes, here, facebook and twitter - but, recognise there will be the odd few that may not.

The raffle was originally only going to be at Rye and we were leaving other hosts to get one together if they wanted to, then, donated prizes started rolling in this week and it's been opened up to the whole online Schnauzerfest community

It may not be perfect, but it's brilliant nonetheless

I'm completely overwhelmed by the generosity everyone has shown. I still can't believe that the little raffle that I started Tuesday evening grew so massively, so quickly. Thank you everyone that has bought tickets so far and good luck in the draw.

Don't forget that tickets will be on sale at the Rye walk so if you want any more tickets nip down to sunny Rye at 10.30, buy some tickets, buy some flapjack, buy some millionaires shortbread, buy some liver cake and have a lovely walk with some of the nicest most generous people you will ever come across.

It's been a great, spontaneous extra side of Schnauzerfest. Have to say I think the top prize, Alison's truly generous B&B holiday got a few wallets opening just a little wider - doesn't everyone want to win that All, every single one of the prizes and donations have really made this a special week, and we're only just starting the walks - and thank you Mike for manning the beast the raffle has become

Sold another £88 worth of tickets at Rye. That brings us to a total of £791 raised by the raffle.
