Calling all schnauzers from Wiltshire and surrounding counties.

Lydiard Park covers 260 acres of historic landscape with lawns, woodlands, lakes and pasture. Wide, accessible paths criss-cross the site making it a great location for a walk. Dogs are welcome in the park, though not allowed in the children's play area, playing fields, or buildings. There is an outdoor kiosk for refreshments.

Lydiard Park is easy to find using postcode: SN5 3PA and is signposted from J16 of M4.

Meeting Point - Outside the Forest Cafe.

This walk is a little tiddler at the moment in registered attendees (which isn't necessarily accurate as plenty of people won't register on facebook, or here but will still consider walks but in comparison to others, it's small).....

which might be perfect for anyone wanting a quieter gathering of course :D

It looks an excellent location and venue, will be worth going along if you're within reach on Saturday afternoon. Gemms is hosting and will be selling her popular peanut butter dog biscuits :-bd

It is possible with the 3.30pm start time to combine this one with an earlier one in the morning if you're vaguely in the vicinity too, as Gemms herself is doing, she's doing Wittenham Clumps, Oxfordshire, then heading to host this walk :)
