Schnauzerfest 2014 - Worcester Woods Country Park

This walk got off to a great start when OH & I arrived a bit early and were delighted to see a lady with 2 Schnauzers already sitting waiting outside the visitor centre. I went straight over, asked the dogs' names (Bertie & Archie), introduced my boys, told her mine & OH's names, she volunteered hers. We were swapping small talk when she said her husband would be back in a moment as he'd just finished the fun run
Turns out she wasn't there for the SF walk at all and must have thought I was a right nosey/batty person!!! Anyway, by the end she knew all about the forum and was invited to stay on for the walk but couldn't make it

I did exactly this on the very first Peterborough Walk The lady chatted happily for ages before saying she had better get home as it was just starting to rain and walked off out the car park

Our visit to the Worcester Woods walk was the first organised event that we have attended with Max , what great fun ! , a wonderful morning with lovely people and of course some amazing mini Schnauzers . Thank you. Several people mentioned they would like to do another, so we'll sort out a date perhaps at the end of January or early February if the weather isn't too bad. By then, Ruby should be well on her feet

It would be nice to have more girls. We walked with two today at Bristol who would be able to get to this venue. Lola and Pixie sadly couldn't make it yesterday but are definitely up for a future date

So glad you enjoyed it and it was lovely to meet you and Max. We will definitely look to organise another group walk, perhaps after Christmas, so watch this space. Equally if you know anywhere else you think would be suitable, anyone is very welcome to suggest a date/time/post code and typically you wouldn't be on your own

At the walk at Climping we did as a bit last minute with some of the DBARC dogs we were joined by a little puppy, Ted I think, who was there on his holidays, he fitted right in and stayed to have a good splash and paddle with the dogs, who were mainly females, his owners were delighted to have stumbled across us
