Louis!

This part of the forum seems to be a bit quiet these days, but just thought I'd share that at The Birmingham National Dog Show, Louis won his first Challenge Certificate. This is awarded to one dog and bitch that the judge deems, 'to be of such outstanding merit as to be worthy of the title champion'. From such a big enter, Im so pleased with him Only another two more to go!

Congratulations Tom After so many really great results I am so glad you finally achieved a CC - hopefully the other 2 will not be long in coming and you can add a title to Louis' name. He really is maturing beautifully

Under Kennel Club rules a dog or bitch needs 3 CCs (achieved at championship shows where CCs were on offer) awarded by 3 different judges ( and at least one of these must be after the dog/bitch is 12 months of age) in order to gain the title of Champion. You can then add Ch. before the registered kennel name to indicate that status.

Under Kennel Club rules a dog or bitch needs 3 CCs (achieved at championship shows where CCs were on offer) awarded by 3 different judges ( and at least one of these must be after the dog/bitch is 12 months of age) in order to gain the title of Champion. You can then add Ch. before the registered kennel name to indicate that status.

Louis has matured into the best little man ever, he's stunning and deserves everything, he will get his next two Cc's without a doubt ;)

I have no plans to stud him, even though he holds a clear eye certificate and has now proved his worth in terms of 'type'. There are breeders out there who can do a much better job at breeding than I ever could
