Dear Eddie

Saying goodbye to our Schnauzers is the hardest part. Share your memories here as we bid farewell to our beloved friends. They've crossed the bridge and returned to the meadow in full health and free of injuries. Running free. We won't forget.

That is a marvellous piece of writing Graham which brings home how much he was loved, how special he was and how beautiful the bonds between dogs and dogs & humans can be. The anniversary of losing our friends is horrible, thinking of you all

Hi Graham & Judie
Just had to reply what a lovely tribute to Eddie, we had the pleasure of meeting you all at the walk at Chatelherault and again at Perth a couple of years ago now. Cant believe a year has gone, so glad to hear that you are all doing well. The photos are brilliant I just loved them and your tribute brought tears to me too.
Have fun with Mouse, Daisy and little Reilly as every day is so precious.

I had only recently joined the forum when you lost Eddie and I remember weeping
buckets over your postings. It is hard to believe that it is a whole year ago. I am sure that having
Daisy and Reilly & Mouse helps but nothing ever takes the heartache away completely.
Loved the photo's, how on earth did he get himself into that position :-o ?

Dear Eddie

Well my little man, that's another year that's gone by without you. We hold you in our hearts, talk about you often and think about you every day. You are very much missed and I am writing this to show that you are not forgotten.

Mouse continues to do well. I am sure she misses you as you were her mentor but she is comfortable in Daisy's company and spends a lot of time playing with Reilly. They are all very close which is nice. We saw your friend Jake recently, he is looking good and is quite happy with his siblings. I can still see the two of you playing together and smile at the memory of the pair of you up to your armpits in sticky mud.

The picture of you sitting on the car door was in the forum calendar this year. That was your favourite spot when we were waiting for Judie. You were always so interested in whatever was going on and that was an ideal vantage point. It would always amuse anyone passing by and you would often get your picture taken.

Rest in peace buddy and I hope that some day we can all be together again.

Thinking of Eddie today, we miss him too, he was such a lovely boy, we have many special memories of Eddie and also remember the time the boys got stuck in the mud.
