My Billy

Post by Ingy »

I have a bad condition called anos spondylitis and it is now spread from the base of my spine right up to my neck. I’m on strong medication including morphine and other equally powerful drugs before I got my Billy I felt many times of taking my life because of the pain which is inoperable as I’ve been told but when I got Billy, he’s made all the difference to my life and made my life worth living. He’s got the most beautiful temperament and there’s not a nasty bone in his body so here’s a couple of pictures of him. as he truly my salvation without him, I wouldn’t be here. some of these pictures are when he was only four or five months old, but he’s now 10 months old which are the more recent pictures and I absolutely love him to bits if it came to feeding him or feeding me it would be him that got fed. :x :) His also tall for a miniature schnauzer as his 19 1/2 inches from his feet to the top of his head. over the past 27 years he is the fifth schnauzer I’ve had unfortunately four of them have passed away and now I just got him.

Cute boy :x
It was seeing a schnauzer on TV that lived at a care home that had an influence on getting the breed. It knew when one of the residents life was coming to an end and would go and take a toy and stay with them. When the carers realised what was happening they could contact the relative so they could come in and be with their loved ones at the end.
I suffer from severe migraines and Jasper who is generally high energy will just lay and cuddle next to me and is very quiet when I have one. He also started behaving differently when my Mother in laws dementia got worse and she easily got agitated. He would just lay quiet next to her so she could stroke him and it would calm her down, especially when he visited her in hospital.
Jasper is also on the tall side at 16.5 inches at the shoulder although he only weighs 10.2kg.
