Daisy's GOTCHA day..

Post by GaryThomlinson »

Happy 2nd GOTCHA day today to our dearest Daisy. Two whole years so far of barking until I'm deaf balanced with constant cuddles licks and bouncing around like Bambi. Here's to many more days like those!

Ps sorry I stood on your paw and broke a claw off last night!

Yes I'd walked in from work as usual and Daisy being Daisy was barking and bouncing around. As I made my way into the house she slid along the floor with one paw coming under my boot as I walked forward. She yelped and jumped back but then carried on barking and bouncing around so I thought nothing of it.

It was only 10 mins later after I'd 'On Your Towel' instructed her while I was putting her dinner together did I note blood on the towel and after checking saw 3/4 of one claw missing and the red wick/bleeding. Arg, felt bad, found the claw in the hallway.

Daisy is a proper trooper and didn't care a jot. It was me that got all 'salt water' bathing and cuddles about it. That and bootees on walks has meant its started to heal hopefully.
