The last of the almost 40 Schnauzerfest Walks for 2016 were held yesterday and I wanted to thank people here who have taken part.
Now in its 3rd year, its been another totally incredible show of generosity and willingness to help rescue dogs from a huge number of people across the country.
Money is still coming in, but the fund today stands at over £22,000 [emoji322][emoji322] which is an extraordinary amount of money to raise. Year 1, we raised £7500, last year £15500, and now this!
DBARC will use the money to help schnauzers rescued from breeding facilities, some of who will require eye surgery which costs several thousand pounds a dog. Two are already booked in for ops next week. Yesterday they took into their care a poor, sad girl, Ginty who was rescued from a council pound after clearly being used for breeding for many years [emoji22] Schnauzerfest funds go directly to helping dogs like her with DBARC.
We'll be back in 2017 to do it all again. Thanks everyone for supporting.

Re: Schnauzerfest 2016
It was another great weekend of walks and an amazing amount of money raised. I have messaged Schnauzerfest HQ today and said I'll happily host a walk at Studland again on the Sunday of Schnauzerfest weekend 2017 and bake treats for the woofers and cakes for their staff again as long as everyone's happy with that, we raised £140. In donations in exchange for cakes and treats on the day and another £60 the week after from friends and family, so next year I'll make it our mission to top £200 from the Dorset Schnauzer Group
