Last weekend I grabbed the clippers and a wiggly puppy.

He's a cutie I love before and after, not too grown up looking just yet

Re: Diesel's DIY hair do!
Thanks! I'm no expert, obviously! I only started doing Poppi in April of this year, and a squirmy puppy is quite a bit different to a dog who basically stands there and lets you do it. (Yes, my Poppi is a darling on the grooming table!)
I used a #7F blade all over - bum, ears and head too - did his nails and plucked his ears. I left his tail "au naturel" and just shaped his face a bit rather than shaving it right back - retains some of the puppyness. The eyebrows, quite honestly, are a work in progress...
Question to any boy-dog owners out there. What happens around the boy bits? Should it all be clipped, just tidied up with scissors or left fuzzy? Diesel is currently sporting fuzzy plums, but to his credit he is totally pulling it off.

Re: Diesel's DIY hair do!
I love the "fuzzy plums" description . I mentioned to a friend that my brother's dog was about to have his plums removed -had to chuckle next day when she was involved in a heated debate in polite company and I heard her say " no! That is a load of (pause) plums!"
