Classifieds

Post by Dinkum »

As part of the upgrade, I installed a classified section to the website. If you look at the top right hand corner, opposite View New Posts, etc, you should see a blue shopping trolley and the word 'Classifieds'.

I have been testing it and it all seems to be working fine. Please have a look and post any items that you want to sell or give away. I'll work on the categories as we go along. I'll work on the rules too, but I know you will all behave O:-)

Any comments, suggestions, criticisms or errors, please add them here.

This only works on the Prosilver style. If you are on the old blue style, you will not see it or be able to use it.

Please note that under no circumstances are the classifieds to be used for live animals of any kind.
Dean (Dog dad)
Rupert, black mini, 24/12/10 - 01/03/24
Watson, black mini born 21/02/12

I offer my advice freely, but I am not an expert, breeder, groomer or behaviourist. It is simply my experience of raising pups in a way that seems to make sense.

What a good idea for the forum. Mind you I'm disappointed the Dirty Beastie isn't for sale ;)

Damn, I was just packing up the boys' stuff then read Dean's post - I was thinking of swapping a barky schnauzer (or 3) for a non-barky one but hey ho looks like we are stuck with them :D =))

Pity - I'd go for a gallon of shampoo at that price any time! :))

Wonder how much it actually costs?

Thanks Dean.

Best price I could find for the shampoo was £16.91 excluding the £6.99 for delivery, so £23.90 on your door.

On ebay here or from Splendid Pets. Ebay seems to be cheaper but watch the delivery charges.

Thanks for that. Dieta doesn't need all that many baths.

But Swampy!

Well his favourite pose is lying down in the most anaerobic puddle he can find. His favourite in my local swamp masquerading as a park is coming up for its second birthday and is quite thoroughly anaerobic (i.e., very, very smelly)

This puddle is a year or more older than the mutt!

Dirty Beastie is bloody lovely Donald, lathers up very well so lasts a long time from a gallon and smells incredible!

But how long does the non-swamp smell last?

There's a reason Chester gets called Swampy more often than Chester. Thanks Mari for the abbreviation of Swamp Thing.
