How many calories per pound per day do you thing a standard schnauzer must eat?

When I did research for home cooked diet for Barney when he was ill, I initially worked on 25-30 calories per pound just so I had an idea of how much he should have. Of course this all depends on the activity level of the individual dogs a very active one may need more.

If you ask me how much food Jasper has in a day I couldnt tell you. I just go by his body condition, feeling his ribs, hip bones etc and give more or less food. Normally more since hes quite active

30 calories is about what I am feeding Franco. So I think I am ok. Tnks.
